About OrbitWar.space
OrbitWar.space is a team-based 2D shooter io game where you battle it out in an arena. Gameplay When you first enter the arena, nothing can kill you for the first 10 seconds, or until you move or shoot. Asteroids, photons, and other players will simply pass right through you. The goal of the game is to get to the top of the leaderboard and stay there as long as possible. Scoring Points are scored by shooting a player (1 point) or killing a player (10 points). Shield Your ship is equipped with a shield that protects you from collisions with photons and other players. The stronger your shield, the brighter it will appear. To increase your shield, shoot asteroids. Remember to shoot them to change their direction. Super Weapons At any given time, there are several super weapons on the Playfield. Each has a different ability and a specific shield color. - Green: HomingPhoton. More powerful Photons that target the nearest enemy. - Purple: PlasmaBomb. Damages or destroys anything within a certain radius. - Yellow: Cloaking Device. Makes you invisible to enemies not on your team. - Red: MegaShield. Instantly maximizes your shield level. Team Play! Join or create a team by entering a Team Code before playing. Players using the same Team Code cannot hurt each other. If you have the Cloaking Device, your teammates will still see you but not others. Leaderboard The player with the most points will be at the top of the leaderboard. Team Players can see the location of their Team Members on the leaderboard next to their score. Remember to strategize with your team, collect super weapons, and protect your shield to dominate in OrbitWar.space!
